Self PreconferenceThe preconference on the self will be held on Thursday October 14th at the conference hotel from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. All are welcome to attend. The cost of the conference is $35 for graduate students, and $45 for faculty. The cost includes a continental breakfast before the conference, and beverages and snacks during breaks. The deadline for registration is October 7th. People who would like to attend after the deadline are still welcome but the cost will be $50. Hamilton and Eliot R. Smith. This year it will take place October 13-14 at the Stagecoach Convention Center in Salado, Texas, a couple of hours south of the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. All are invited to attend. Small GroupsThe 12th Annual Pre-Conference on Small Groups, organized by Laurie Weingart and Carsten De Dreu, will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Society for Experimental Social Psychology (SESP) on Thursday, October 14th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Trinity Central Room of the Renaissance Worthington Hotel, Fort Worth, Texas. Participants who are interested in attending the Preconference, but are not planning to attend SESP are welcome.This year’s presentations will highlight new research on a range of topics including • Peter J.
